Robinson is widely known for being the first priest in an openly gay relationship to be consecrated a bishop in a major Christian denomination believing in the historic episcopate. The story of Gene and his family was featured in FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO, and he’s back in the new film talking not only about God’s love for all people but also about his latest work of uncovering affirming messages for transgender people in the Bible.
